Fall is a mature woman - voluptuous, self-confident and intellectual. She pauses in the middle of her reading to address the viewer, marking her place in her book with her finger as the pages curl and flip in the autumn wind. This is much what I feel: that life busily and hurriedly swirls by; yet, when on firm ground and with self solidity, we can keep our feet securely planted.
