Security Blanket - 1/2 Life Size

When in kindergarten, my son, Federico, and his classmates carved into little, flattened clay squares personal illustrations of love and safety. Some carved symbols of their faith, others drew family gatherings, pillows, daddies and mommies. I then assembled their squares into a quilt and wrapped it around a tender little girl; so warm, loved, and safe in her security blanket.
