“When in kindergarten, my son, Federico, and his classmates carved into little clay squares their personal illustrations of love and safety. Some children carved symbols of their faith, others drew family gatherings, pillows, daddies and mommies. I then assembled their squares into a quilt.
This quilt, woven by the warmth of their hearts, envelops a tender little girl. She is cocooned in a blanket of love, feeling the embrace of family, faith, and the security that comes from a community that cares.
'Security Blanket' is a tribute to the enduring power of love and the comfort it provides in the arms of those who care."
